Now that you have met the teachers on the previous blog, here are just a few pics of some of the projects you could be sewing this month! Just a sampling, come into the store and check out all of the class projects!

In Sewing for Children 101 you will start with the Bridget Dress and move onto the Ruffle Pants!! But that’s not all, come check out the Julia Skirt and the Lindsey Dress.

The Serenity Shoulder Bag… it’s a fabulous new bag taught by Sue! She will teach you how to use Texture Magic and Soft and Stable in the construction of this bag. You will love it!!

Applique the Easy Way, a fabulous applique technique taught by Jodi. This class is offered in the evening this month!

Pat’s new series, Home Dec 101 will teach you basics of making pillows, using cording, inserting a zipper and making these cool placemats. Isn’t the fabric awesome? It’s new from Free Spirit.

If you did not have a chance to meet our teachers at our recent “Meet the Teacher” Event, we would like to introduce them to you virtually. Our teacher event was a lot of  FUN and please join us the next time.

Toni specializes in the quilting classes. Check out her many classes in our schedule, piecing techniques, color, fabric pottery, and t-shirt quilts to name a few!

Pat teaches clothing construction. Her Sewing for Children Series has been very popular. Pat has added Home Dec and Serger classes this year too.

Marialice is a licensed Martha Pullen Instructor and specialized in heirloom sewing and heirloom sewing in the embroidery hoop! Her samples are just precious, come in and see them.

Monday Nights with Mary…. what can I say but…. FUN FUN FUN.  Lots of different fun outfits you can complete in one evening.

Sue is teaching 2 bags this spring. The Serenity Shoulder bag and the Mail Sack. Sue has an excellent method of teaching, so if bags intimidate you, take her classes. You will be well on your way to making more than one!!

Reeta is teaching the Professional Tote. Everyone is crazy about this tote!!

Sherri is back teaching Raw Edge Applique and has added a new class for paper piecing.  Stunning workmanship, and she will teach you her tricks!!

And of course there is Kathy… pictured at the machine in a Mastery Class. Not only does she teach our guide classes, she also teaches her expertise in the free-motion quilting world with a basic class and and an advanced series. She will also be teaching classes specifically for the 830′s.

We have a wonderful group of knowledgeable and fun teachers at Gina’s Bernina Sewing Center! Learn to quilt, applique, sew for children, sew for yourself, make bags, make pillows and panels for your house. Our winter/spring class list is extensive! Please come in and meet the teachers, check out the project and enjoy a morning at Gina’s on…………..

Wouldn’t you have loved having Linda be your Secret Santa this year?? Linda has been a longtime customer at Gina’s and it is always exciting to see her “show and tells”, her work is exceptional!  Linda has been sewing on a BERNINA  for over 15 years. She made this table runner and tree napkins for a sweet friend and we are sure she was more than thrilled to get it!! Thanks Linda for sharing.
