Journal Covers – Four Ways
You will love this popular class! Using only a composition book and two fat quarters, you’ll create a fabulous journal cover with pen holder, and will leave class with a finished product. You’ll also learn how to create four different journal cover styles including an artisan binding with ribbon. This makes a great gift for any occasion!
Supply List for Journal Cover Composition Book (approx 9 ¾ x7 ½ inches)
2 Coordinating non-directional fat quarters of good quality
quilter's cotton
* 1 fat quarter of neutral or light colored flannel
* Sewing thread to match front cover fabric
* 1 yard of ½" ribbon (non-wire and non-printed)
* Sewing Machine in good working order with foot pedal and power cord
(1/4" foot and/or a walking foot is helpful)
* Basic sewing supplies to include sharp rotary cutter, ruler, and
cutting mat (some mats available in class)
* You should easily be able to finish your journal cover in class,
bring supplies to make two if you wish.
