60 Degree Ruler Table Topper

Join Jenny for a delightful class learning how to use this amazing ruler in various ways. You’ll finish a table topper in class to take home and show off on the kitchen!
Supplies
Sewing Machine (don’t forget your power cord and foot pedal)
Basic Sewing Supplies Rotary Cutter, Ruler, Cutting Mat Sharp Scissors and Thread Snips
Creative Grids 8”60 Degree Triangle Ruler (do not substitute other 60 degree rulers, although you can use the Creative Grids 12” 60 Degree Triangle Ruler if that’s what you have)
Pattern – The Original Easy Striped Table Runner Anniversary Edition – The Quilt Company/Karen Montgomery
Optional:thread to match main fabric
Optional: ¼ Inch Foot (or ¼” Foot with Guide)
Optional: You can bring a walking foot if needed, but I find this project quilts well without it since it’s a small project.
Fabric for top of table topper – 1 to 1 ½ yards border or stripe cotton quilting fabric (try to ensure the section of border/stripe you want to use is 8” or less in height) – bring the 1 ½ yards if you want to fussy cut a particular border or strip, bring 1 yard if it’s a standard repeating pattern you don’t need to fussy cut
Fabric for back of table topper – 1 yard coordinating cotton quilting fabric (non-directional - not border or striped fabric)
A 22” square scrap of light or medium weight batting
