Quilting 102 - Jewel Box

Join Mary as we tackle the next step in quilting 102! Have you finished beginning quilting or are you looking to get back into sewing after a hiatus? This class is for you! We will start this 5 week course, still touching on the basics but working on a next step quilt. In this series we will be working with 4 patches, 1/2 square triangles and borders. We will concentrate on getting points to line up and to achieve visual accuracy.

This class will be 5 sit and sew sessions. 

Supplies for Class:

Six Dark fat Quarters
Six Medium Fat Quarters
1 yard constant (usually a lighter fabric to contrast with fat quarters)
1/4 yard small border fabric
4 yards of backing fabric
3/4 yards for binding

Bring to Class:

Sewing Machine with ALL Feet, including 1/4" with or without guide
Empty Bobbin
General Sewing Supplies: Rotary Cutter, Scissors, Sharp Straight Pens, 24x6.5' ruler or equivalent, etc.
