Bernina 990 Mastery (Six Sessions total)

Because of the many features of the 990, each session covers different information.  You will benefit from taking all the sessions to cover the many wonderful aspects of the machine.

Learn to set up the machine to your personal specifications and navigating through the new screen layouts.  While sewing we will experiment with the many new ways of editing your stitches, use balance and dual feed balance and stitch density, Let's not forget the wonderful stitch designer program built into the machine and the jumbo stitch feature. Combining different stitch patterns has never been easier.  Join me for a fun day of learning about this wonderful machine. 

Kathy will also be guiding you through the 990's magical features in embroidery.  Learn the many ways to edit a design, shape designer, pin point placement, virtual placement, and endless embroidery to name a few.  Have you connected your machine to Wi-Fi ?  No worries, we'll help you.  Want to connect your tablet to your machine.  We'll help with that as well.  You can even connect your machine to a laptop.  Come prepared to have fun with your 990 and bring your questions also and we'll figure it out together!  

Learn to use the features of the machine for quilting your quilts in the hoop whether adding quilting to a block or the ease of combining for a border.   The Morphing and shaping features to fit specific spaces is so beneficial.  Learn to use your scanner and laser to audition designs as well as an aid in placement.
We will also do free motion quilting utilizing the BSR and BISR to get you started with quilting creativity for your next quilt top.
