Market Tote Bag in Brentwood

The market tote is great to take to the store, the library, the park, you name it! It's a must have for the fall season! Join us in making it with Michelle Abegg.

The finished tote measures 16” tall x 17” wide. It is lined and has one interior pocket. The contrast band adds a nice pop of color. A cotton/linen blend canvas is a great weight to use for the outer fabric and cotton broadcloth is ideal for the lining. Cotton or nylon webbing are both good choices for the straps.

There will be time for a 30 minute lunch break, so please bring a lunch or snacks.

1/4 yard for contrast
7/8 yard cotton lining
1 3/4 yard webbing 1”-1 1/2” wide
1 1/8 yard shape flex interfacing
