
Tuffet Class - Brentwood

This darling 18" Tuffet will add beauty and interest to any decor. The class is designed to give you experience with foundation piecing and constructing an upholstered piece of furniture.
Pattern purchase is required for the class.
Tuffet Source, Fabric Foundation Pattern, Pieced 18" Tuffet. NOT fusible.
Fabrics
You will need 1/4 yard of 8 fabrics for the Tuffet cover, a 6-inch square of fabric for the covered button, and a fat quarter for the underside of Miss Tuffet.
Tools and Sewing Supplies
Sewing machine (zig zag capability), machine oil, foot pedal, slide-on-table, bobbin holder, power cord.
18" Tuffet Pattern and Original (not fusible) Fabric Piecing Foundation
Add-a Quarter Plus ruler (12-inch)
Rotary cutter with a New blade, ruler, and mat.
Full wound bobbin
New 12/80 Jeans needle in your machine
50-weight thread for piecing the Tuffet cover (Aurifil is my go-to)
5-inch Karen K Buckley scissors
Stiletto
Flower pins
Seam ripper
Small iron and pressing surface (it's convenient to set up next to your machine)

Ruler
12-inch Upholstery Needle
Chenille needle for cording (not a regular sewing needle)
Hammer and Staple gun (you may borrow mine if you don't have one)
Heavy-weight thread to apply cording
