One Block Wonder using Panels Workshop by Anne Marcelis - Brentwood

KIT fee: $10
ALERT!!! PREPARATION BEFORE CLASS:
-Make sure you have 7, not 6, panels (Please email/text me a picture before purchasing AT 517-750-4065)
TIP: You don’t want a lot of solid background. You do want contrasting colors. Do NOT prewash panels as they’ll lose their shape.
-Starch all panels. I love Faultless Premium Spray Starch. To use: spray liberally on the back of the fabric, let sit few
seconds to soak in, iron the front side of the fabric. Starching aids in piecing and pressing-trust me, you’ll be
happy with the results! TIP: If you soak the fabric with starch, let it dry for about 20 minutes, it will be stiffer.
Then press.
I love Clover flowerhead fine
point pins .45mm (not .55mm)
not mandatory
**Test yours by laying ruler on top and see if ruler is still laying flat
NOTE: If you can’t purchase any of these supplies, please let me know as I’d be happy to help.
This will be fun!
Glow line tape
-Wrap all 7 panels around a pool noodle or empty bolt, pin to it, then tie so fabric doesn’t get wrinkled.
-Look for “One Block Wonder Panels” in Pinterest for inspiration
To see your panel in assorted hexies, take a picture and go to On Block Wonder Design Helper This will get your juices going!!
