Children's Corner Ruthie Dress in Knoxville

Ruthie is a classic yoke dress that buttons down the front, providing a beautiful silhouette. With this class, you will learn how to add smocking to a garment pattern.  The quick and simple geometric design can be worked on the front and back, or you may choose just to smock the front panels. We will be using  VIEW A which has a short yoke and long sleeves finished with a sunbonnet edge.  The bodice is lined but the skirt will be unlined. Come expand your smocking and children’s sewing knowledge.

Children's Corner Ruthie pattern in size you want to make. Comes in 6mo - 3yr and 4 - 8 yr
Fabric for the size you are making
Bodice Lining Fabric for the size you are making
Purchase the Notions listed on the pattern back for the size you are making

Sewing Machine with basic sewing supplies
Thread to match fabric
