Bag Lady Class #2 - Brentwood

Are you afraid of installing zippers and think it's too hard? You will be happy with this class as installation of zippers is made easy. Anne will show you how simple and easy it is to sew zippers to a project bag. No raw edges inside and fully lined. This project bag is easy and fun to make. This is a great starter for those who've never sewn a zipper. This bag is also very useful for projects and patterns. Sew fun!
Items Needed:

Zipper foot and piecing foot

(1) - package mini charm pack 42 or 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" squares
(2) - 13 1/2" x 15 1/2" Soft & Stable (or batting) YKK Handbag Zippers #4.5 with Extra-Long Pull
(2) - 13/1/2" x 15 1/2" Lining
(1) - 13 1/2" x 15 1/2" Backing
(2) - 2 1/2" x WOF (width of fabric) Binding
(2) - 2" x 15" handbag zipper binding (this is "chunky" which is easier to sew without a zipper foot, YKK Handbag zipper #4.5 with extra long pull)
(1) - 14" (or longer) handbag zipper Idea: Cut contrasting fabric or same as binding instructions. **NO metal zippers since you can't sew over them.
