Basic T-Shirt Class
Learn to sew a classic knit t-shirt using your serger/overlocker. In this class, we will cut out and construct your shirt using a professional PDF pattern.

Machine Requirements

Overlocker/Serger — cleaned and threaded Test the overlock stitch before class

Bring all tools, accessories, and standard presser feet

Needles:

Stretch needles 80/12 for serging

ELx705 SUK for cover stitch

Fabric
-
Knit fabric (preferably 95% cotton / 5% spandex)

Must stretch horizontally

Check your pattern for yardage

Pre-wash and dry before class
Thread

Four cones of serger thread to match fabric

If using cover stitch: stretch thread for looper (ex: Maxi-Lock Stretch)

Rotary cutter & ruler • Heat-resistant pins (for hems)
