Anything Goes Bag- Brentwood

PRE-CLASS INSTRUCTIONS
Be Prepared Before Class Day
If you are using Bosal Duet Fuse II interfacing in your fabric tubes, fuse it to the back of each fabric strip. Remember to use your silicone Applique Sheet while ironing to prevent strips from sticking to your ironing board. This process will take a bit to do, so go ahead and do this BEFORE CLASSTIME! (I found that you will need to clean your iron soleplate often too.)
For everyone, regardless of which interfacing you are using:
Arrange the strips in the order you want your finished bag to look like. It is helpful to take a picture with your phone here. You can also mark them by number (1-40) up in the selvedge area with a fabric marker …. Just in case a strip gets out of order!
Cut and label the following fabrics:
Binding for top of bag: (2) strips 8” x WOF
Handles: (2) strips 4” x 30” (This measurement is longer than pattern calls for.)
Inner Pockets: (2) rectangles 16 ½” x 32 ½”. If you plan to use
Shape Flex (SF101) on the pockets; cut and iron it to the BACK of these rectangles.
If you are not using a Jelly Roll and the pre-cut
interfacings/batting, cut your fabrics into 2 ½” strips and batting into 2 ¼” strips.
