Half Moon Zip Pouch Class in Knoxville

Join Fay to make the big pouch, 10" W x 7 1/2" W x 5" D, in this class.  This is a fun bag to make with plenty of room for a craft or sewing project. A nice travel pouch for toiletries or make-up.  You decide. Either way it's a fun new way to make flying geese.

NOTE: Prior to class starch and cut fabrics according to pattern instructions so you can complete your pouch during class.

Pattern has three sizes, you will make the largest in class.

Supplies needed:
Half Moon Zip Pouch pattern
Sewing machine, power cord and presser foot with basic sewing supplies
1/4" foot, Zipper Foot, and Dual feed or Walking Foot (optional) for quilting pouch
Fabric marking pen
Fabric Glue
505 spray or other fabric adhesive
Wonder clips for bags
Large fabric scissors or Rotary Cutter
Matching or Neutral thread


Materials Needed:
Exterior Fabric -1/4 yard (non directional)
Exterior Side/Bottom - Fat eighth (no directional)
Large Triangles - Fat eighth or (5) 3" scraps if you want different colors
Small Triangles - Fat eighth or (10) 2 3/8" scraps if you want different colors
Lining fabric: 1/2 yard or Fat quarter
Bias Binding:  fat quarter or 1/8 yard
Foam Stabilizer (Soft & Stable): 1/2 yard
Zipper (Nylon): double slide or single slide, at least 9" (your preference)
