Mini Art Quilts (MAQs) with Susan Beck - Brentwood

Mini art quilts are no-stress projects that can be as simple or as complex as you want. This class explores how to create mini art quilts, and you will leave the class with your own unique quilt.

Kit fee: $20.00 - payable in cash to Susan on the day of class. The kit includes all fabrics, threads, batting, and stabilizers as needed for techniques plus assorted notions such as buttons, charms, ribbons, cords, etc.

Please bring the following to class:

• Your sewing machine, power cord, foot control and all accessories, including 2 empty bobbins
• Basic sewing tools including scissors, pins and/or clips, and fabric marker
• Optional: Rotary cutter, ruler, cutting mat (up to size 12" x 18")
• Optional: Mini iron and Ironing Surface

This class focuses on sewing techniques using BERNINA presser feet and attachments. All of Susan’s projects are sewn on BERNINA sewing machines using BERNINA presser feet. She can adapt to other brands, but please be aware that the presser feet/techniques may not be the same and the finished project may be slightly different.
