Share & Sew with Susan Beck - Brentwood

Every student brings a gallon zip-lock bag filled with scraps from your stash. Every student brings one and then we'll share and select fabrics from the combined scraps to create yardage that is used to make a unique one-of-a-kind collage journal cover. As we do this, you'll learn some creative techniques using specialty presser feet to add embellishments and artistic techniques as you create your own personal journal cover.

Kit fee: $20.00 - payable in cash to Susan on the day of class. The kit includes all fabrics, threads, batting, and stabilizers as needed for techniques plus assorted notions such as buttons, charms, ribbons, cords, etc.

Student Supply List
Please bring the following to class:

• Your sewing machine, power cord, foot control and all accessories, including 2 empty bobbins
• Basic sewing tools including scissors, pins and/or clips, and fabric marker
• Optional: Rotary cutter, ruler, cutting mat (up to size 12" x 18")
• Optional: Mini iron and Ironing Surface
