Chevron String Piecing Quilt Class

In this two part class, we will work on sewing small strips to a foundation piece, using a ruler to cut squares and piecing squares together. This is great for beginners or anyone who wants to add a string quilt to their collection. There are multiple variations of layout for this quilt, come by the shop to see some different variations.

Class Instructor: Mary Nussbaum

Supplies:

2 yards light wt. muslin or other light fabric for the foundation of the blocks
1.5 yards solid color for "chevron" (other half of strips.
8-10 fat quarters for "strings"

You will need basic sewing supplies, including the machine, 1/4" foot, iron and pressing surface, cutting mat and rotary cutter
